Every once in a while a project comes along that shows exactly what our products can do. This is one of them. One of our partners took on the fencing for a brand new ride area at Six Flags in Dallas, Texas, and installed the entire job with Fenceweb fence panels, Fenceweb fence posts and Fenceweb accessories.
The result is, simply put, a stunning project. Crisp black lines that follow every curve of the walkway, panels that sit dead level across sloping ground, and a perimeter that guides hundreds of thousands of visitors past a roller coaster without ever drawing attention to itself. That is exactly what good fencing should do.
We are proud of our partner, proud of the crew that installed it, and proud that our panels are part of a landmark like this. And we are convinced this is only the beginning: a showcase of this caliber opens doors, and many more projects like it will follow.
A Fenceweb Partner Took On the Entire Perimeter
The scope covered the full perimeter of the new ride area: the queue line, the plaza around the water feature, the barriers along the landscaping and the enclosures around the ride's technical foundations. All of it in one consistent fence system, sourced from a single supplier.
That last part matters more than it sounds. When panels, posts, clamps and caps all come from the same range, the crew does not lose days chasing mismatched components on site. Everything lines up because it was designed to line up.

Why a Theme Park Is the Hardest Job a Fence Will Get
A theme park perimeter has to do several jobs at once, and most fence systems are only good at one or two of them.
A welded wire panel system handles all four at the same time, which is why it has become the standard for parks, stadiums and public spaces on both sides of the Atlantic.
- Safety first: it has to keep guests out of ride envelopes and away from machinery, every hour of every day, with no exceptions.
- Constant traffic: leaning, pushing, strollers, backpacks and the occasional climb attempt are daily reality, not edge cases.
- Visibility: guests, ride operators and security staff all need to see through the barrier, so a solid fence is not an option.
- Looks: the fence sits in every photo a visitor takes, so it has to disappear into the design instead of fighting it.
What Went Into the Job
The whole installation was built from three groups of Fenceweb products, all in a matching black finish.
Welded Wire Fence Panels
Double wire welded panels form the backbone of the project. The horizontal wire pairs make the panel rigid without adding bulk, so a panel that looks light in a photo is remarkably hard to deform in real life. The narrow mesh openings also make the fence very difficult to climb, which is exactly what you want around ride machinery.
Fence Posts
Square posts carry the panels and set the rhythm of the run. Because the panels bolt to the face of the post with clamps rather than being threaded through it, the crew could step the fence down over sloping walkways and follow the radius of the plaza without cutting a single panel out of square.

Accessories and Gate Hardware
Clamps, post caps, fixings and gate hardware complete the system. These are the parts nobody photographs and everybody notices when they are wrong. Getting them from the same range as the panels is what makes a run of fence read as one clean line instead of a series of compromises.
A Black Finish That Gets Out of the Way
The park chose black, and it was the right call. Against the steel structure of the coaster, the timber pergolas and the terracotta buildings, a black fence reads as a shadow rather than as an object. Look at the photos again and you will notice you see the ride first and the fence second, even though the fence is in the foreground.
The powder coating is not only cosmetic. It seals the galvanized panel against Texas sun, summer storms and the chlorinated water of the park's water features, which is the combination that ends the life of cheaper fencing long before its warranty runs out.

One Showcase, Many More to Follow
Projects like this one change the conversation. A contractor who can point at a finished ride area at Six Flags no longer has to explain what a welded wire panel system is or argue that European panel quality holds up in the American market. The work speaks for itself.
That is why we treat this as a showcase rather than as a one-off. Parks, stadiums, water parks, campuses and municipalities all face the same brief: keep people safe, keep the view open, keep it looking good for twenty years. Once a reference like this exists, the next one gets easier, and we fully expect many more to follow.
Our partner earned this result. We simply made sure every panel, post and clamp was on site, in the right finish, at the right time.
Planning a Landmark Project?
Whether you are fencing a ride area, a stadium concourse, a school campus or a distribution center, the approach is the same: one range, one supplier, one consistent look from the first post to the last gate.
Send us your drawings or a materials list and we will check stock, price the job and confirm freight. Our team in Dallas covers the entire US market, and if you are a fencing contractor, the Fenceweb Partner Network gives you contractor pricing, priority stock and one account for every reorder.
