Fenceweb is now a dealer for Fortress Building Products, the Texas-based maker of steel and aluminum fencing. As of November 3, 2026, fence contractors, dealers and project teams can buy the Fortress fence range online at Fenceweb.com: panels, gates, posts, brackets, caps and gate hardware for the Versai®, Versai Assurance, V2, V3, Titan, Athens™, A2™ and Estate lines.
For buyers, it means one account and one order for the whole job. A Fortress fence line can go in the same cart as gate hardware from Locinox or Gatemaster, our own welded wire and security fence, chain link or a turnstile, on one invoice. This article explains which Fortress lines are available, how to choose between them, what the warranties are and how ordering and shipping work.
Who is Fortress Building Products?
Fortress Building Products is a Texas-based manufacturer of steel and aluminum fencing, steel deck framing and pergolas. The company describes itself as built on more than 50 years of innovation and has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies twice.
For fence professionals, the strength of Fortress is that every fence line is a complete system: panels in several top styles and heights, walk gates and drive gate leaves in the same style, posts and brackets for line, corner and end posts, caps, and gate hardware sized to the posts and gate uprights. You order a fence that fits together, not a pile of parts that almost fit.
Which Fortress fence lines can you buy on Fenceweb?
The Fortress fence program on Fenceweb.com is organized by line, so you can go straight to the fence your job calls for:
- Versai®: residential ornamental steel in seven top styles, 34" to 70" high, in gloss black. A patented pin hinge lets panels rack up to 48" over 96" to follow sloped ground.
- Versai Assurance: the same Versai fence with a 3" air space between the pickets instead of 3-7/8", for yards with small children, pets or a pool.
- V2: commercial steel fence with 3/4" pickets for schools, parks, offices and pools, up to 94" high, with a curved top and an Assurance option.
- V3: industrial steel fence with 1" pickets and 1-3/4" rails for utilities, plants and public sites, up to 94" high.
- Titan: industrial and high-security steel fence up to 118" high, with the Shield anti-climb style for data centers, utilities and correctional sites.
- Athens™: residential aluminum fence that does not rust, in nine top styles from 36" to 72" high, including a pool style.
- A2™: commercial aluminum fence with 3/4" pickets in 2, 3 and 4 rail styles, 48" to 72" high, for apartments, offices and pool areas.
- Estate: a privacy fence on a welded steel frame, filled with 3/4" x 6" wood or composite pickets.
Which Fortress fence should you choose?
Start from the site, not the catalog. These are the Fortress lines that fit the most common jobs:
- Home and backyard: Versai for steel or Athens for aluminum, both in gloss black with matching walk and drive gates.
- Pools, small children and pets: Versai Assurance, the Athens pool style or V2 with the Assurance option, all with pickets 3" apart. Browse all pool fence.
- Schools, parks, offices and apartments: V2 in steel or A2 in aluminum.
- Utilities, plants and public sites: V3, with heavier pickets and rails than V2.
- Data centers, substations and correctional facilities: Titan, up to 118" high, with the Shield anti-climb style on the heaviest panel.
- Privacy: Estate, a steel frame that keeps the fence straight, filled with wood or composite pickets.
Steel or aluminum: what is the difference?
Fortress steel fence (Versai, V2, V3 and Titan) is the choice when strength and height matter: heavier pickets and rails, heights up to 118" on Titan, and anti-climb options for security sites. Fortress aluminum fence (Athens and A2) does not rust and carries a limited lifetime warranty, which makes it a strong choice around pools and for homeowners who want a fence with little upkeep. Compare all ornamental fence, including steel fence panels.
Fortress fence warranties at a glance
Fortress lists these warranties for its fence lines. The warranty document for each product is on its product page.
- Versai, V2, V3 and Titan Architectural (steel): 20-year limited warranty.
- Athens and A2 (aluminum): limited lifetime warranty.
- Estate (privacy fence): 10-year limited warranty.
Gates and gate hardware that match
Every Fortress line has walk gates and drive gate leaves in its own style, and Fortress gate hardware hangs and latches them: residential hinges, fork latches and gravity latches for Versai and Athens, and ProSeries post clamps, slide latches, gate receivers and drop rods for commercial and industrial gates.
Need a self-closing pool gate or heavier hardware than the line comes with? Add Locinox or Gatemaster hinges, closers and locks from our gate hardware range to the same order.
