One continuous rail
The top rail runs through the loop caps of the line posts and ends in a rail end at each terminal post. One end of every length is swaged, narrowed so it slides into the next length, so the rail runs on without couplings.
How much rail
Allow one 21' length for every 20.5' of fence, a little extra for the overlap at the swaged ends.
