Locinox Caracal 180 degree gate closer with Serval hinge
Caracal is a compact hydraulic gate closer that lets a gate open up to 180 degrees and closes it again by itself. It is supplied with the Serval self-closing hinge, so you get closer and hinge in one package with an aesthetic, discreet look.
Materials and operation
The housing is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, which protects the internal components and keeps the closer working properly in all weather conditions. The closing speed is adjustable, so you can set how quickly the gate swings shut.
Installation
Caracal is fixed with self-drilling screws, so no welding is needed. It offers 13/16" of vertical and 13/16" of horizontal adjustment, which makes alignment easy and forgiving on site. It suits both square and round gate frames.
Typical uses
Caracal is a good fit for gates that must close reliably behind every visitor, such as swimming pool enclosures, playgrounds, parks and garden gates. The self-closing action keeps the gate shut without anyone having to think about it.
