Locinox SHROUD-PLATE-SA protection plate for the handle
On gates with bars or mesh, a person outside can sometimes reach through and use the handle on the inside. This semi-round aluminum protection plate restricts that access to the handles from the outside of the gate.
Installation
The plate is fitted on the keep side of the gate, where it shields the handle area from the outside.
Materials and fit
Check that the SA version matches your lock before ordering; the LA version is listed separately.
The plate is made of aluminum, which does not corrode outdoors and suits most gate finishes. It works as a simple, passive security measure: no wiring, no keys and no change to the way the gate is used from the inside.
