Uncoated cover to color-match a Locinox gate closer
Locinox gate closers come with an anodized shell. When the closer has to match a gate in a specific color, or a company's house colors, this uncoated aluminum cover takes the place of that shell.
Materials and finish
The cover is supplied in bare, uncoated aluminum so it can be powder coated in any color. It must be powder coated before use to avoid corrosion; it is not meant to be fitted uncoated.
Compatibility
The cover replaces the shell that comes with the Locinox Verticlose-2 gate closer. Which other Locinox closers it fits is not yet confirmed, so check the model of your closer with Fenceweb before ordering. Locinox also sells a separate uncoated shell for the Lion gate closer.
Installation
Once mounted, no fixing bolts are visible, so the closer keeps a clean look after the color change. Have the cover coated first and then swap it for the existing shell. Plan the color together with the gate coating, so closer and gate are finished in the same shade.
