AES | e-Loop In-Ground Wireless Vehicle Detector | Detector Only

The AES e-Loop In-Ground (part EL00IG-RAD) is a wireless vehicle detector that replaces a trenched induction loop. The In-Ground sits below the road surface for a flush, hidden finish, and the detector signals an eTrans transceiver wired into the gate operator. Supplied as the detector only, with up to 10 years battery life in exit mode.
Key features
- No trenching, no saw cut, no loop cable
- Commissioned from the e-Loop smartphone app
- Over-the-air firmware updates
- 128-bit encrypted communication with replay attack protection
- Up to 10 years battery life in exit mode
- Pairs with eTrans 50, 100 and 200 transceivers
AES e-Loop In-Ground: vehicle detection without a ground loop
How it works
e-Loop detects a vehicle without an induction loop in the ground, which removes the trenching, the saw cut and the cable run from the job. The detector sits at the gate and sends its signal over an encrypted 433.39 MHz link to an eTrans transceiver wired into the gate operator, so installation time and disruption both drop sharply.
Choosing the In-Ground
The In-Ground sits below the road surface for a flush, hidden finish. Across the range, the Mini suits residential driveways and small commercial sites; the Commercial is built for busy entrances, industrial access points and shared access roads; the Post Mount fixes to a gate post or wall where the road surface cannot be disturbed.
Pairing with a transceiver
This is the detector only. It pairs with eTrans 50, 100 and 200 transceivers: the eTrans 50 gives one normally-open relay with LED indicators, the eTrans 100 adds a second relay with normally-closed contacts, and the eTrans 200 adds an LCD display to those two relays.
Commissioning and support
Commissioning is done from the e-Loop smartphone app, and firmware is updated over the air. The data sheet, installation instructions, LED display guide and test mode guide are on this page. Ordered under AES part number EL00IG-RAD. Fenceweb is an authorised AES Global reseller for the United States, and our team can confirm compatibility with an existing operator before you order.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to cut a loop into the drive?
No. e-Loop detects a vehicle without an induction loop in the ground, so there is no trenching, saw cut or loop cable. The detector signals an eTrans transceiver wired into the gate operator.
How long does the battery last?
AES states up to 10 years of battery life in exit mode.
Is a transceiver included?
No, this is the detector only. It pairs with eTrans 50, 100 and 200 transceivers, which wire into the gate operator.
How is the detector set up?
It is commissioned from the e-Loop smartphone app, and its firmware is updated over the air.
What types of fencing products does Fenceweb offer?
Fenceweb offers a complete range of fencing products, including welded wire fence panels, chain link fence, ornamental and metal fencing, security fencing, fence posts, swing and farm gates, gate hardware and temporary fencing. We also carry trusted brands such as Locinox, Gatemaster, ZND, AES Global, D&D Technology and Tarter.
Are all products in stock and ready for shipment?
The majority of our catalog is kept in stock and ships quickly from our warehouse. We do not publish a stock figure on the product pages, so ask our team and they will confirm availability and lead times for your order, especially a larger or custom one.
