AES Opyn 4G video intercom with keypad and app answering
Opyn puts the caller on screen wherever you are. This 4G kit brings its own SIM-based internet access, which is the practical route on a gate with no network nearby. Part OPYN-4G-IBK-US has one call button and a keypad in a powder-coated black Imperial panel for vertical surface mounting.
Access and security
The keypad stores 150 codes, each with an optional validity window and number of uses, and 150 QR codes give visitors access with their own limits. Two relay outputs, N/O and N/C, cover a gate and a second device. Infrared night vision and LED luminance handle the dark, and a tamper alarm, IP camera integration and voice control through Alexa or Google complete the platform.
The Opyn app
The Opyn app sets automatic opening times, unlocks by QR code with its own validity and usage limits, sends motion detection alerts with playback, shows the live feed, and manages several users and devices under one account. Up to three voicemail messages can be recorded for unanswered calls, and the activity log records everything.
Power and installation
The callbox runs on 24 V DC or 48 V PoE, drawing 300 mA in use and 2 A at peak, and works from -20 °C to 55 °C. It records to a microSD card of up to 128 GB. The box holds the callbox, a power supply, and the mounting hardware with security key.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a network connection at the gate?
No. The 4G kit has its own SIM-based internet access, so it suits a gate with no network nearby. The IP version, OPYN-IP-IBK-US, connects over LAN or Wi-Fi instead.
Can I answer on an indoor screen as well as my phone?
Yes. Calls reach the Opyn app on a phone or tablet, and an Opyn touchscreen monitor indoors, which is sold separately.
How is it powered?
24 V DC or 48 V PoE. It draws 300 mA in use and up to 2 A at peak, and a power supply is in the box.
What happens if nobody answers?
Up to three voicemail messages can be recorded for unanswered calls, and the activity log records every event.
