Locinox aluminum knob blocking set for access-controlled gates
This aluminum round knob set from Locinox, reference 3006KR, controls which side of a gate can be opened by hand. It lets a standard lock work as a free exit, dead latch or store room function, depending on how the knobs are set.
Operation
- One side fixed, one side operational
- Both sides fixed
- One side blinded, one side operational
- Both sides operational
Compatibility
The set is advised in combination with all Locinox aluminum lock boxes when access control is needed. It is highly recommended with Locinox electric strikes, where the gate should only be released by the access system.
Materials
The knobs are made of aluminum. Locinox publishes a product sheet for the 3006KR with further details. Because the set changes how the knobs work rather than the lock itself, it is a simple way to give an existing gate a new function.
