Gardenode Equinox aluminum fence post, 3-1/8" x 3-1/8", the top-of-the-range upright of the Equinox slat fence. Powder coated in Anthracite Gray RAL 7016, Quartz Gray RAL 7039, Black RAL 9005 or Teak, in lengths from 6'2" to 10'6", with a cap and a clip included.

The main post of the system
Aluminum and composite slats, louvers and laser-cut panels slide into the grooves of this post from the top, and the included cap closes it off. It is the heavier of the two Equinox posts and the one to use for tall privacy screens.
Choosing the length
Pick the fence height plus the part you set in concrete: Gardenode's guide is a hole about 15-3/4" square and 19-5/8" deep. On a slab or low wall, mount the post on the 5-1/8" x 5-1/8" steel base plate, pick the fence height alone, and keep the fence to 63".
Spacing and reinforcement
Set the posts 72-7/8" apart on center, so one 70-7/8" slat spans each bay. For fences taller than 70-7/8", add the aluminum post insert.
