The GateStop from D&D Technologies is the part a gate closes against. Its rubber bumper greatly reduces gate-slam noise, and by stopping the gate in line it helps prevent damage to latches and hinges, which makes it an ideal gate alignment device.
Materials and fixing
The body is tough, durable polymer with a rubber bumper, and two side fixing legs add strength. It screws on to gate and post. Fasteners are sold separately, so you can match the screw to your gate material; D&D publishes a screw pack for each gate type.
