The hinge post is the post the gate hinges mount on. It carries the full weight of the gate leaf and the forces of opening and closing, so it is the structural heart of every System Gate installation. The 120 x 120 mm section is the heaviest section, for the widest and heaviest leaves.
Materials and finish
The post is a square steel tube of 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" with a wall thickness of 11 GA. Every version is hot-dip galvanized, and the coated versions are also powder coated in moss green RAL 6005, fir green RAL 6009, anthracite gray RAL 7016 or black RAL 9005, so post, leaf and fence match.
