Aluminium post cap 80 x 80 mm for a tidy gate post
This aluminium cap is made to close the top of an 80 x 80 mm post, and is intended for gate posts. It finishes the post neatly and keeps the open section covered, which gives the gate a completed look.
Materials and finish
The cap is aluminum and comes in five finishes: moss green RAL 6005, fir green RAL 6009, anthracite gray RAL 7016, black RAL 9005 and hot-dip galvanized. Match the cap to the color of your gate and posts for a consistent result.
Sizes and fit
The cap is sized for 80 x 80 mm posts. The range photo shows aluminium caps fitted flush without an overhang. Measure your gate post before ordering: larger 100 x 100 mm posts need the 100 mm cap.
Installation
The cap is quick to fit and needs no special tools. Fit it once the gate post is set and the gate is hung, so it is not damaged while you work on the hinges and lock.
