Shut It 4" Hardcore Cantilever Wheel: for gates without a ground track
A cantilever wheel assembly is installed on a rail rather than on a V-track, which makes it the right choice where installing a track on the ground is not feasible. This assembly belongs to D&D Technologies' Shut It Hardcore range of sliding gate hardware.
Materials and finish
The wheel is made from super-hard cold rolled steel with a 30RC rating and runs on two sealed bearings. The carriage plates are steel with a zinc finish. Its narrow width reduces friction and problems with debris.
Sizes and fit
D&D rates the assembly at a load of 1,360 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 680 kg. It is specified for privacy, security and commercial gates.
Installation
The assembly is welded in place. Adjustable plates let you set the gate precisely during installation. It is sold individually as part CI2240 and carries D&D Technologies' limited lifetime warranty.
