Shut It Hardcore Carriage Cap: wheel mounting for round bottom rails
The carriage cap is the part that lets you use Shut It Hardcore wheels on a gate with a round bottom rail. Combined with the Hardcore carriage plates, it makes a complete wheel mounting for chain link gates, and D&D describes the result as a UL325 friendly system.
Materials
The cap is made from high strength steel, to match the heavy duty Hardcore wheels and plates it works with.
Compatibility
It is designed for Shut It wheels for 2" gate frames. Choose the 4" cap for 4" wheels or the 6" cap for 6" wheels, and combine it with carriage plates of the same size, sold separately.
Installation
The carriage cap is welded in place. It is specified for privacy, security and commercial sliding gates, is sold individually as part CI2340 (4") or CI2360 (6") and carries D&D Technologies' limited lifetime warranty.
