Shut It 6" Hardcore V-Groove Wheel: for heavy sliding gates
This V-groove wheel is designed for sliding gates with a bottom rail running on a V-track. It is the larger wheel in D&D Technologies' Shut It Hardcore range and is sold as the wheel only.
Materials and operation
The wheel is made from super-hard cold rolled steel with a 30RC rating. Two sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance. At only 1-1/8" wide, it reduces friction and problems with debris on the track.
Sizes and fit
Choose the model for your bottom rail: 38 mm or 51 mm. D&D rates the wheels at a load of 2,270 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 1,000 kg, for privacy, security and commercial gates.
Compatibility
The wheel bolts in place. Optional adjustable Shut It Hardcore 6" carriage plates are available separately for precise installation inside the bottom rail.
