SureClose ConcealFit: a concealed hydraulic hinge-closer with nothing to climb on
SureClose ConcealFit is a hydraulic gate closer and hinge system from D&D Technologies in which the mechanism is fully concealed. With no exposed parts, it offers no foothold for climbing, and the gate gap can be as small as 0.079". It is rated for gates of up to 220 lb.
Operation
Closing speed, latching speed and backcheck are all adjustable, for a secure, safe and quiet close from up to 125 degrees. D&D states that it has been independently tested to over 500,000 open and close cycles, carries a 20-minute UL10C and cUL10C fire rating and is suitable for ADA use.
Installation
The hinge has four positional adjustments: lateral, vertical, depth and inclination. It fixes by screw-on or weld-on, and aluminum and steel gates need a weld box. A gate stop is required so the gate cannot open beyond 125 degrees, because forcing it further can damage the closer and void the warranty.
