TruClose HEAVY DUTY hinges from D&D Technologies self-close gates of up to 154 lb. This version suits metal, aluminum, wood and vinyl gates and is specified for pool gates as well as front, side, pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates. The hinges are sold as a pair.
Materials and finish
The hinges are built from a strong polymer with stainless steel. UV-stabilised and self-lubricating, the hinges will not rust, bind, sag or stain. Gloss black decorative trim covers hide the fasteners.
Operation
The closing tension is simple to adjust from either end of the hinge. For pool and safety gates, an optional hinge safety cap can be fitted.
Fitting and options
The hinges are quick to install and fix with screws. Fasteners are sold separately, so you can choose screws to suit the gate material. Choose no side-fixing legs, one leg or two legs; the legs make alignment faster and add strength.
