Hot-dip galvanized wall plate for garden gate hinges
When a garden gate hangs from a wall instead of a post, the hinge needs a fixing point on the masonry. This Locinox wall plate provides it: the plate is fixed to the wall and the threaded hinge axle is screwed into its nut.
Sizes and fit
The wall plate is available with an M12, M16 or M20 nut. Choose the thread that matches the hinge axle of your gate. The nut lets you adjust the position of the hinge axle, so the gate can be set to hang straight.
Materials and finish
The plate is hot-dip galvanized steel, which protects it against corrosion outdoors without further coating.
Installation
Fix the plate to the wall with fixings that suit the wall material; the sources do not say that fixings are included. Then screw the hinge axle into the nut and adjust it before hanging the gate.
