L-shaped base plate for mounting Ø 2-3/8" round posts
Not every fence post can be set in the ground, and a base plate fixes the post instead. This base plate is L-shaped and made for round posts with a diameter of 2-3/8".
Sizes and fit
The base plate is made for round Ø 2-3/8" posts and has a length of 11-13/16". Check the diameter of your posts before ordering. The record does not state the hole pattern or the fixings, so choose anchors that suit the surface you are fixing to.
Colors
Choose the same finish as the posts: hot-dip galvanized, moss green RAL 6005, fir green RAL 6009, anthracite gray RAL 7016 and black RAL 9005. A matching base plate keeps the foot of the post in the same color as the rest of the fence.
Installation
Fix the base plate firmly to a sound surface and set the post square before tightening. Check every post with a spirit level, because a post that leans at the base leans more at the top.
