Drive-in elbow for a neat bend in Ø 2-3/8" round tube
This drive-in elbow joins two lengths of round tube with a diameter of 2-3/8" where the line has to turn. Instead of a clamp around the outside, the elbow is driven into the ends of the tubes, so the bend stays close to the tube profile and looks like part of the frame.
Sizes and fit
The elbow is made for round tube with an outside diameter of 2-3/8". Measure your tube before ordering: a tube of a different diameter will not take the elbow properly. Make sure the tube ends are cut square and free of burrs so the elbow can be driven in evenly.
Colors
Choose fir green RAL 6009, anthracite gray RAL 7016 or black RAL 9005, the same color as the tubes and posts, for a frame that reads as one piece. A rubber or plastic mallet helps to drive the elbow in without marking the coating.
