Locinox EGS economic ground catcher for drop bolts
The EGS is a simple and economical in-ground catch for drop bolts. It is set into concrete in the ground and receives the drop bolt of a gate leaf, so the leaf stays in place when it is closed. It is a straightforward choice for double gates where a basic ground catch is enough.
Sizes and fit
The largest drop bolt the catcher takes is not yet confirmed, so check your drop bolt with Fenceweb before ordering. The catcher has no stop plate, so it holds the drop bolt but does not act as a stop for the gate leaf itself.
Materials and finish
The base plate is hot-dip galvanized steel and the catcher itself is polypropylene. A drainage hole lets rainwater run away, so water does not stand in the catcher and the drop bolt keeps going down freely.
Installation
Set the catcher in concrete at the position of the drop bolt, with the gate closed and aligned.
