Wherever it is not possible install fence posts in concrete, fence post anchors can be used to keep the fence post stable. Post anchors, also known as base plates, hold the fence posts in the form of a plug-in connection. To do this, they are first doweled onto flat, solid surfaces with a support surface that is at least a couple of inches wide. The areas are usually foundations, concrete floors or walls. To ensure a stable and long-lasting attachment of the base plate to the surface, hexagon screws and dowels are used per post anchor. The fence post, which is hollow from the inside, is placed on the support tube (spar) of the post anchor and fastened with at least two screws with self-tapping threads. The lenght of support tube is defending on the height of the fence panel or gate. When the fence post is fixed with the screws it can no longer be pulled out and is firmly fixed. The post anchors of Fenceweb are suitable for all standard fence posts.
In case you need to install your fence on a paved surface, such as a concrete path or other hard soil and it needs to be really secured we advice to take post anchors which are welded on the fence post.
