Locinox insert lock with 1-3/8" backset for welding boxes
This insert lock is made to be built into metal gates using a welding box: the box is welded into the gate frame and the lock is installed inside it. It suits gates where the frame is not prepared for an insert lock in any other way.
Security
The lock combines a massive stainless steel hook, which works as a dead bolt, with an adjustable self-latching bolt. When the hook engages the corresponding keep, the gate is securely anchored, which makes this a one of a kind lock in its class.

The mechanism is made entirely of stainless steel, so it keeps working reliably outdoors.
Sizes and fit
The backset is 1-3/8". Use the lock on metal gates together with a Locinox welding box, and combine it with the matching keep on the post to get the full anchoring effect of the hook. For aluminum gates or ready-prepared steel profiles, the standard 1-3/8" insert lock is the alternative.
