Locinox insert lock with 1-3/8" backset and stainless steel hook
This high quality insert lock is built into the gate profile and combines two locking parts: a massive stainless steel hook that acts as a dead bolt, and an adjustable latch bolt. Together they make it a one of a kind lock.
Security
When the hook engages the corresponding keep, the gate is securely anchored to the post. The adjustable latch bolt holds the gate closed in daily use, while the hook adds the security of a dead bolt.

The mechanism is made entirely of stainless steel, so it is built for long, reliable use outdoors.
Compatibility
The lock has a 1-3/8" backset and can be used on metal or aluminum gates, or in fully prepared steel profiles. For metal gates without a prepared profile, the version for use with a welding box (article H-METAL-WB) is the alternative. Use the corresponding Locinox keep on the post to get the full anchoring effect of the hook.
