Shut It BadAss Powder Coated Bolt-On: heavy duty hinges in matte black
This is the bolt-on, powder coated version of D&D Technologies' Shut It BadAss gate hinge. Flat brackets allow through bolting, so you can hang heavy aluminum and steel gates without welding, and D&D gives it the highest gate weight rating in its range of bolt-on hinges.
Materials and finish
Each component is individually powder coated for full coverage, in a long-lasting, UV-rated matte black finish. The nuts, bolts and washers are black zinc plated to match the color and protect against corrosion.
Operation and durability
Two sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance, and D&D has tested the hinge to over 1 million open and close cycles. It is horizontally adjustable so the gate can be set precisely, and it is not self-closing.
Sizes and fit
The load rating is 900 kg per gate and the maximum gate weight is 450 kg. The gate gap is 74 to 86 mm. It suits pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates. Bolts are ordered separately to suit your gate and post.
