Shut It Baby Bolt-On BadAss: a bolt-on hinge for smaller gates
Like the Baby BadAss, this hinge is CNC machined to tight tolerances. Unlike the Baby BadAss, it was designed for smaller gates where welding the hinges to the gate and the end post is not an option.
Materials and operation
The hinge is zinc plated. A high temperature sealed bearing needs no greasing and no maintenance and is safe to powder coat with the hinges installed. The adjustable barrel and horizontal adjustment let you set the gate precisely, for near frictionless movement.
Sizes and fit
D&D rates the hinges at a load of 270 kg per gate. The gate gap is 76 to 89 mm, and the hinge suits square gate frames on square posts of 38 mm and up. It is specified for pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates.
Installation
Flat bolt-on brackets allow through bolting to the gate and post. Bolts are ordered separately to suit your gate and post. The hinge is not self-closing.
