Fence post baseplate | 2-3/8" x 1-9/16" | Short
Straight base plate for 2-3/8" x 1-9/16" fence posts, used to set a twin wire or V mesh fence on concrete, paving or a wall. The post slides over the plate, which is bolted down through two holes, leaving only its sides visible. Available hot-dip galvanized or in four RAL colors.

Base plate for mounting 60 x 40 mm posts on hard surfaces
Where posts cannot go into the ground, for example on concrete, paving or a wall, a base plate lets you build the fence anyway. This straight base plate fits 60 x 40 mm posts and suits twin wire and V mesh fencing. An L-shaped base plate is available for fixing against a low wall.
Installation
Fix the base plate to the ground or wall through its two holes. Slide the post over the plate so the plate is almost hidden; only its two sides stay visible. Secure the post to the plate with self-tapping screws, two per base plate.
Post length
Posts are sold about 2' longer than the fence height for setting in the ground. When you use base plates, shorten the posts yourself to the fence height before fitting.
