Every LokkLatch self-latches when the gate swings shut and none of them will rust or seize. What separates the models is how you get through the gate. LokkLatch Series 3 is the base latch, operated from the inside and key lockable. Add the External Access Kit (EAK) and it becomes a two-sided latch you can key and open from the street side too — it is sold either as latch plus EAK together or as the EAK on its own to upgrade a latch already on the gate.

LokkLatch DELUXE and PLUS

DELUXE Series 3 is the privacy-and-security model: latch and external access kit in one box, keyed alike or keyed different, in black or white. PLUS is the heavier-duty version for gates that get commercial traffic. Both use the same rust-proof polymer body and stainless internals as the rest of the range.

LokkLatch MAGNETIC

The magnetic version borrows the MagnaLatch principle: the latch is triggered magnetically rather than mechanically, so it latches reliably even on a gate that has moved slightly, and there is no wearing contact. It is available with black or brushed trim and keyed alike or keyed different, and is also sold bundled with a TruClose Heavy Duty hinge as a complete gate set.

Round posts and strikers

LokkLatch ROUND fits round posts directly, without an adapter. Note that the latch-only models come with either a short or a long striker — they are different part numbers, so match the striker to your gate-to-post gap rather than assuming they are interchangeable.

Keying across a site

Keyed alike means every latch on the property opens with the same key, which is what you want on a multi-gate site. Keyed different means each latch has its own key. Both are stocked; check the part number on the product page, because the keying is built into it.
