If the fence panel does not fit entirely in the space, and the last fence post or gate is closer than the length of a fence panel, there is always the option to shorten this fence panels. This can be done with an angle grinder, but it is also possible with a simple hacksaw. Once you have done this, the fence coating is damaged, and there is a greater chance of rust formation on the sawed surface. You can easily touch up this surface with the fence paint in spray cans from Fenceweb. These spray cans are available in 2 different sizes, 150 ml and 400 ml.
