Smooth 60 x 60 mm fence post for heavy panels and security fencing
The smooth 60 x 60 mm post is the heavier section in the range, for heavy double wire panels, security fencing and taller fence lines. No clamps are pre-mounted, so you choose the brackets that suit the panel and decide how deep the post goes into the ground.
Materials and finish
The post is steel, galvanized and powder coated in moss green RAL 6005, fir green RAL 6009, anthracite gray RAL 7016 or black RAL 9005, so post and panels match.
Sizes and fit
Lengths run from 1400 to 13'2" in 7-7/8" steps. As a rule, choose a post about 2' longer than the fence height so that 2' sits in the ground; for tall fences and soft ground, allow 2'8". Set the post in quick-setting concrete for maximum rigidity.
Compatibility
- Deluxe brackets in intermediate, end and corner versions
- U-brackets for every position and panel type
- Spider brackets for 358 security fence panels
- Plastic or aluminum post caps in the fence color
Mounting on a hard surface
Where posts cannot go into the ground, base plates slide into the bottom of the post and are bolted to the surface. For projects that need extreme rigidity, ask about posts with welded base plates.
