Multi fence post 60 x 40 mm with pre-positioned fixing points
The Multi post is the steel post made for double wire mesh panels. Its fixing points sit at the right heights for the 2" x 8" mesh, so each panel clips into place without measuring or drilling. Every post is 2' longer than the fence height; that extra length goes into the ground and gives the fence its rigidity.
Sizes and finishes
- Profile: rectangular 60 x 40 mm, steel
- Fixing points pre-mounted for double wire panels
- Lengths: 1200 to 3000 mm in 200 mm steps (fence height plus 600 mm)
- Finish: hot-dip galvanised, or galvanised and powder coated in RAL 6005, RAL 6009, RAL 7016 or RAL 9005
Installation
Drive the posts in with a manual post driver, or dig a hole with an auger or spade. When you dig, anchor the post with quick-setting concrete or concrete mortar so it does not sink or shift over time. Where a post cannot go into the ground, for example on concrete or paving, use a base plate or an L-shaped base plate instead.
Complete the fence
Add a single or double gate, weave-in privacy strips and post caps for a neat finish. Order posts, panels and accessories in the same color for a uniform fence line.

Frequently asked questions
Which post length do I need?
Take the fence height plus 2'. The extra 2' goes into the ground.
Do I need to drill the post to fix the panels?
No. The fixing points are pre-positioned for the 2" x 8" mesh, so panels clip into place.
Can I install the post on concrete or paving?
Yes. Use a base plate or an L-shaped base plate instead of setting the post in the ground.
