A closed screen in aluminum
Solid slats stack between two Equinox posts into a screen with no gaps. Twelve of them make a bay about 70-7/8" tall, and every slat spans exactly one bay.
No reinforcement, no rust
Aluminum moves so little with temperature that the slats need no steel brace, which composite slats do. The powder coating does not rust and needs only a rinse.
Mix it in one fence
Aluminum and composite slats are both 13/16" thick and slide into the same posts, so a bay can combine them, or take a laser-cut decorative panel in a framing kit.

Frequently asked questions
How many slats do I need per bay?
Twelve solid slats for a bay about 70-7/8" tall. Each slat is 70-7/8" long and spans one bay between two posts.
Does an aluminum slat need a brace?
No. Only composite slats take the galvanized steel brace.
Does it fit other fence systems?
Assume not. The grooves, clips and profiles are made for the Gardenode Equinox system, so order posts, slats and accessories from the same range.
