Gatemaster gate maglock system: the simple way to fit a maglock
This kit is the simplest way to fit a maglock to a gate. It brings the magnet, the armature and the pull handles together, so the gate can be locked electrically and opened and closed by hand.
Strength and status
The maglock is made from stainless steel with a holding force of 1,202 lb, and the attachment plates are powder-coated for durable, smooth operation. A built-in switch provides a locked or unlocked status signal to the access control system.

The maglock can be driven by a separate keypad, switch or proximity fob and fits into any access control system. The gate is opened and closed with the pull handles included.
Installation
For the armature, drill three holes through the gate and bolt the armature and the pull handles in place with the two coach bolts and break-off nuts supplied; the third hole gives clearance for the nut on the back of the armature plate. Close the gate, position the maglock against the post and fix it with the M8 screws supplied. Depending on the type of post, another fixing method may be needed.

Will it survive outdoors all year?
