Locinox 2-3/8" knob cylinder for a free exit on one side
This symmetric Europrofile cylinder from Locinox has a key on one side and a knob on the other, with an overall length of 2-3/8". It is used when a free exit is required on one side: people inside turn the knob, while the outside stays key operated. It is supplied with three keys.
Keying options
Choose between keyed alike (series Z) or keyed to differ. Keyed to differ means the cylinder has its own key that opens no other cylinder. Keyed alike means every cylinder in the same series opens with the same key, so one key can serve several gates. Pick the keyed alike series that matches the cylinders you already use if one key should open them all.
Fitting the cylinder
Fit the cylinder with the knob on the side where people need to leave freely. Europrofile is a standard cylinder shape, but the length has to match the lock: check that your lock calls for a 2-3/8" cylinder before you order.

Frequently asked questions
When do I need a knob cylinder?
When a free exit is required on one side: the knob opens the lock without a key, the other side needs the key.
How many keys come with it?
The cylinder is supplied with three keys.
What is the difference between keyed alike and keyed to differ?
A keyed to differ cylinder has its own unique key. Keyed alike cylinders of the same series all open with the same key, so one key can operate several gates.
