MagnaLatch Round Post Adapter: fit your latch to round posts
MagnaLatch latches are designed for square posts. This accessory kit converts a MagnaLatch to a round post application, so the same magnetic safety latch can be used on round tube gates and posts, including chain link gates.
Compatibility
The kit suits all MagnaLatch Series 3 models and the ALERT Top Pull and ALERT Vertical Pull. It is specified for aluminum, chain link, vinyl and wood gates, from pool and pet gates to front, side, privacy, security and commercial gates.
Sizes and fit
The kit contains a set of round post shims so you can match the latch to the tube sizes on site:
- Gate frame: Ø 1-3/8" and Ø 1-5/8"
- Post: Ø 48 to 2", Ø 2-1/2" and Ø 2-7/8"
Installation
The adapter screws on and the fasteners are supplied in the bag. It is sold individually and carries D&D Technologies' limited lifetime warranty. On a pool gate, confirm the safety requirements with your local authority before fitting.
