T-Latch toggle-style latch: a rust-free, padlockable latch that compensates for gate sag
The T-Latch is a toggle-style, general-purpose gate latch from D&D Technologies. It fits square posts and gate frames on aluminum, vinyl and wood gates, and is specified for front, side, pedestrian and pet gates. It is sold individually.
Materials
The latch is made from a strong engineering polymer, and its metal components are stainless steel, so there is nothing to rust.
Fitting and adjustment
It fixes to the gate and the post with screws, and the fasteners are in the pack. The latch adjusts both vertically and horizontally, and it automatically compensates for gate sag, so the gate keeps latching as it settles.
Security
The T-Latch can be padlocked and has a storage feature that holds the padlock when it is not in use. The padlock itself is not included.
