Locinox Magnus motorised hinge and gate closer for pedestrian gates
Magnus combines hinge, gate closer and motor in one unit, designed to automate pedestrian gates. Its brushless, reversible motor works in low-energy mode and is insensitive to unpredictable pedestrian behaviour. The motor is backdrivable for easy manual use and should be combined with a lock.
Operation
Settings and access control are configured in an intuitive app. Integrated electronics include automatic obstacle detection with a reverse function. The motor delivers 100 Nm of torque and has been tested up to 500,000 cycles.
Power and wiring
Mains input is 110 to 240 V AC, and the motor runs on 24 V DC. The external connection box has 3 inputs and 3 outputs (max. 48 W, 24 V DC) and is linked to the motor by a cable.
Materials and standards
A steel gear box sits under an anodized aluminum cover, rated IP56, in a compact, vandal-resistant design. Magnus fixes with Quick-Fix bolts and complies with EN 16005 and UL/cUL 325. Choose black RAL 9005 or silver.
