Locinox Powerbox transformer housing
Electric locks, magnet locks and motorised closers need a power supply close to the gate. The Powerbox is a weatherproof housing for that transformer.
Materials and protection
The housing is made of powder-coated aluminum and is waterproof to IP66. Heat-dissipation fins at the back help keep the transformer cool.
Installation
Quick-Fix provides a strong and easy fixing. Inside, a DIN rail of type TH35 takes standard rail-mounted components. The Powerbox is supplied with 2 gland nuts M20 and 2 stop plugs M16, so cables enter neatly and unused openings can be sealed.
Typical uses
Use the Powerbox wherever a transformer or power supply for gate hardware has to be mounted outdoors, near the gate it serves. Choose black RAL 9005 or silver to match the gate hardware, and keep the electronics protected from rain and dust.
