Locinox security shroud that keeps the free exit handle out of reach
On a gate with free exit, people inside can always open the gate with the handle. This polyamide shroud closes off that handle from the outside, so nobody can reach through or over the gate to operate it, while exit from the inside stays as easy as before.
Compatibility
The shroud fits all free exit configurations of the Locinox single Europrofile cylinder locks, types LA and LP. It also works with the 3006R-2, 3006KR and 3006PUSH handles. Check your lock type and handle against this list before ordering.
Versions
Two versions are available. The P version has an untreated aluminum shield plate and comes with a pre-cut recess, so the plate finishes neatly around the lock. The Z version has no shield plate and consists of the polyamide shroud only.
Typical uses
Use the shroud on gates that must open freely from the inside but stay closed to anyone outside, such as site entrances, school grounds and escape routes in fenced areas. Combined with a large shield plate, it also keeps hands away from the lock from the outside.
