LokkBolt Moulded Base Plate: a clean seat for your drop bolt
The base plate is the ground half of a LokkBolt drop bolt from D&D Technologies. It is a moulded socket that sits in paving or concrete and receives the bolt when the gate is closed.
Why fit a base plate
Without a base plate the bolt drops into a drilled hole, and that hole silts up with grit over time. The moulded socket gives the bolt a clean seat instead.

Are these genuine D&D Technologies parts?
Yes. They are ordered against the D&D Technologies USA trade price list and ship as the original manufacturer's part, with the D&D limited lifetime warranty.
