Locinox 2-1/8" dummy cylinder that keeps the lock from being locked
This dummy cylinder from Locinox has the Europrofile shape and a length of 2-1/8". It fits in the cylinder opening of a lock in place of a working cylinder, but it has no key. Its purpose is to prevent the lock from being locked down.
When to use it
Use a dummy cylinder on a gate that should latch and open with the handle but never be locked, for example a gate that must always stay accessible. It closes the cylinder opening, so the lock looks complete and no empty hole is left in the lock.
Choosing the right length
Europrofile is a standard cylinder shape, but the length has to match the lock. This dummy cylinder is 2-1/8" long; check that this is the cylinder length your lock calls for before you order. Working cylinders with keys are available in the same range if the gate needs to be lockable later.
