Guardima child-safe magnetic latch for pool and park gates
The Guardima is a magnetic gate latch from Locinox designed to keep young children away from pools and play areas. It is fitted on single leaf gates and is installed on the gate itself. A patented internal leverage system, together with the strong magnetic force, gives smooth opening and closing.
Materials and finish
The latch is made of anodized aluminum and powder coated components. This makes it durable outdoors and gives it a clean appearance that suits a pool area, a park entrance or a back garden.
Installation
Mounting uses the Locinox Quick-Fix fixing system, which gives a firm fixing on a wide range of gate materials. According to Locinox, the latch is compatible with most international code requirements for pool gates; check the rules that apply at your location before you install it.
Typical uses
Use the Guardima on pool enclosures, playgrounds, parks and garden gates where a self-latching, child-safe closure is needed. It is intended for single leaf gates.
