Shut It Self-Closing BadAss Hinge-Closer Set: a hinge and closer in one
This set contains one self-closing BadAss hinge and one Original BadAss hinge. With the closer built into the hinge, a self-closing gate no longer needs a separate closer, which makes for a cleaner and easier installation.
Operation
The closing force has 5 tension settings, including the bracket setting, so you can match it to the gate. The gate swings from minus 5 degrees to 110 degrees. Two sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance, and D&D lists the set as suitable for accessible ADA use.
Sizes and fit
As a self-closing set, the hinges close gates up to 287 lb. The gate gap is 61 to 2-15/16". The hinges are steel with a zinc finish and are specified for pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates.
Installation
