SureClose GateStop: protect your hinge-closers by stopping the gate at 85 degrees
The SureClose GateStop from D&D Technologies limits how far a gate can open, stopping it at 85 degrees. That prevents damage to hinge-closers, reduces wear on the gate and lessens the need to adjust the hinges.
Operation
A semi-soft rubber bumper meets the gate and minimises bounce-back. The stop is horizontally adjustable, so it can be set to give a maximum opening of 85 degrees.
Materials and finish
The components are stainless steel, and the custom finish is rated to 1,000 hours of salt spray and 500 hours of UV exposure.
Installation
It can be welded or fastened, and Tek screws are included. The finish does not need grinding off before welding. The specification lists posts from 1-15/16".
