This adjustable nut from Locinox is a zinc-plated welding nut for ornamental gates. It is welded in place and takes the threaded hinge bolt, so the position of the gate can be adjusted once the gate is installed.
Sizes and fit
The nut is available with four thread sizes: M16, M20, M24 and M27. Choose the thread that matches the hinge bolt on your gate.
Why use an adjustable nut
Ornamental gates are often heavy and made to measure, and they rarely hang perfectly the first time. With an adjustable nut you can fine-tune the installed gate instead of cutting or rewelding parts, which saves time on site. The same nut also lets you correct the gate later, if it settles or drops over time.
