SureClose Flush Mount for Safety Gates is a flush-mounted hydraulic hinge-closer from D&D Technologies for aluminum pool and safety gates. It self-closes without holding open, is rated for gates up to 265 lb, adjusts for force and speed and comes in screw-on and weld-on models.

SureClose Flush Mount for Safety Gates: hidden hydraulics that close the gate every time
The SureClose Flush Mount is a flush-mounted, hydraulic gate hinge-closer from D&D Technologies with powerful, hidden hydraulics. This safety version will not hold the gate open, which is why it is specified for pool gates as well as front, side, pedestrian, pet, privacy, security and commercial gates.
Operation
The closer self-closes the gate under control, which prevents gate slam noise and damage. Force and speed are both adjustable, and the closer is maintenance free. Final Snap models add a snap-close action at the end of the swing.
Sizes and fit
It is made for aluminum gates with a hinge gap of 1/2". D&D rates it for gates of up to 176 lb or up to 265 lb depending on the configuration, as set out in its load chart. The specification lists posts from 1-15/16" or 3" upwards.
Materials and fitting
The aluminum components have a 50 micron anodized finish for high corrosion resistance. Screw-on and weld-on models are available, and weld-on models need no grinding before welding. Post mounting brackets are sold separately.
