MagnaLatch Gate Kits: a self-closing, self-latching gate in one order
Each kit boxes a MagnaLatch latch from D&D Technologies with the hinges for one gate. D&D boxes these combinations because the parts are engineered to the same gate gap and post sizes, so latch and hinges are matched and there is one part number to reorder.
Reading the kit codes
Most kits are built on the MagnaLatch Series 3 Top Pull (ML3TPKA, or ML3TPKAWT in white); others use the ML3VPKA, MLSPS2L or TL01 latch. Hinge codes starting TCA are TruClose Regular, TCHD codes TruClose Heavy Duty and KF3S the KwikFit self-closing hinge. Some kits add the TruClose safety cap (TCACAPS3), a QB124, and the largest a GateStop (TCGS1), gate handle (LL3GH) and LokkBolt (LB224).
Ordering
Every kit is a separate D&D part number, listed next to the option name, so quoting the number on your order gets you exactly that combination. The video on this page shows how the MagnaLatch is installed. For a project quantity, request a quote with your quantities and we will price it including freight.
