This standard post latch belongs to the D&D Technologies Stainless Steel range of gate hardware. It is made for wood and vinyl gates and is specified for front, side, pedestrian and pet gates. It is available in black or white and is sold individually.
Materials and finish
Every surface carries a marine grade powder coat finish, so no part is left unfinished. The latch has the V-notch styling used across the range, and the fasteners supplied with it are stainless steel.
Operation and security
An integrated latch spring is built into the latch. It allows entry from both sides of the gate and can be padlocked on either side. Mounting is reversible, so the same latch suits a left or right handed installation.
Fitting and adjustment
It fixes to the gate and the post with screws, and the stainless steel fasteners are in the box. The latch is horizontally adjustable and has standard to narrow side legs.
