Shut It 6" Hardcore V-Groove Wheel with Carriage: for the heaviest sliding gates
This assembly combines the Shut It Hardcore 6" V-groove wheel with adjustable steel carriage plates. It is designed for heavy sliding gates with a bottom rail running on a V-track, and mounts the wheel inside the rail without a wheel box.
Materials and operation
The wheel is made from super-hard cold rolled steel with a 30RC rating. Two sealed bearings need no greasing and no maintenance. At only 1-1/8" wide, it reduces friction and problems with debris on the track.
Sizes and fit
Choose the model for your bottom rail width: 38 mm or 51 mm. D&D rates the assembly at a load of 2,270 kg per gate and a maximum gate weight of 1,000 kg, for privacy, security and commercial gates.
Installation
The carriage plates are welded in place and are adjustable, so you can set the gate precisely during installation.
